History
My design journey began much like
a spiral staircase, my career has evolved through a series of connected experiences, each step expanding my knowledge, creativity, and understanding of how thoughtful design can transform the way people live and experience a space. I began with formal studies at the Art Institute of Houston and continued at the Art Institute of Seattle.
In 1998 I launched and successfully managed my own interior design business focused on creating modern, multi-level interiors for many of Tampa Bay's premier upscale nightclubs, where innovative design and guest experience were essential to success.
What started in entertainment design quickly grew into a passion for transforming all types of spaces. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work on restaurants, luxury homes, home staging projects and commercial entertainment venues, expanding into recreational project development and prototype design.
Following a bold move to Houston, I further broadened my services to include custom design-build and residential project development.
Returning home to Michigan marked a new chapter in my career, leading me into the specialized field of custom window treatment design. Over seven years, I developed a deeper appreciation for how light, texture, scale, and functionality work together to complete a well-designed space.
These diverse experiences have shaped a design approach that balances creativity with functionality, allowing me to create environments that are both beautiful and purposeful.
"More than 25 years later, my passion remains the same: helping clients transform ideas into meaningful, functional spaces that reflect their lifestyle, goals, and personality."
